Casa del Prado in Balboa Park, San Diego

 

 

 

 

Foods and Beverages Building, reconstructed later as the Casa del Prado. It was originally built for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 as the Agricultural and Horticultural Building, later becoming the Varied Industries & Food Products Building, in 1916 renamed the Foreign and Domestic Products Building, and briefly as the San Diego County Fair Building. During the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935 it was known as the Palace of Foods and Beverages. The building is reflected in the Lagoon (also known as Laguna de las Flores, Laguna de Espejo, Reflecting Pool, and Lily Pond) iin front of the Botanical Building
