This view looks west from the Plaza de Panama along El Prado street toward the western entrance. Toward the left, on the north side of El Prado, iis the California Tower, designed by architect Bertram Goodhue (1869-1924). In the notch between trees toward the right bottom, with automobiles on the street, is the arch of the western entrance. On the northeast corner of the Plaza (the north side of El Prado street), the Science and Education Building presents its east side toward the viewer. This building was also known as the Palace of Photography, the Medical Arts Building, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Building before it was razed in the 1960s.
