[Curt Teich and Company, Incorporated, Chicago, Illinois]
The Palace of Foods and Beverages, also known as the Food and Beverages Building, was created for the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 as the Agriculture and Horticulture Building but renamed the Varied Industries & Food Products Building. In 1916 it was known as the Foreign and Domestic Products Building, later the County Fair Building. After a bond issue in 1968 approved preserving the ornamentation and replacing the building, the Casa del Prado was built and then dedicated on the same site in 1971. The publisher's number 4406 is in the upper left white border. The Teich number in the lower right border is 5A-H441, from which the date was derived. This is a linen card produced as part of a series for the California Pacific International Exposition of 1935.
