This postcard is basically the same as PC-001-267 of the home of "Flower artist" Paul de Longpre (1855-1911) but here described as the "former" home of the "late" de Longpre. Astist de Longpre's family moved back to France after his death, and the house was demolished around 1920. In the intervening years it may still have been advertised as a destination "On the Road of a thousand wonders" (motto on the back) for a promotion of The Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific Railroad. The publisher's number on the back is A 109.
