It is unusual to see a card marked, as this one is, with the logo and name of Curt Teich without a number indicating its year of manufacture. Although this is such a card, the date can be approximated, because the steamship Catalina pictured in the inset above the map is described as "new." It was launched in 1924. The black line almost from one end of the island to the other marks the old stagecoach road. The flag with a "W" on the back marks this as a card promoting the Wilmington Transportation Company, owner of the pictured steamship.
