This is a continuous strip of images: the Tower of Chimes and Avalon Bay; travellers aboard the "Betty-O"; (postcard number C.20) viewing the submarine gardens; seal rocks; beach at Avalon; residence of Zane Grey; glass bottom boats (including The Emperor); the Bird Park; and a high view of Avalon and Avalon Bay. At the top is part of the cardboard envelope with space for a return address. Two numbers appear on this card: D-294 and 37775. The first belongs to Curt Teich, and the second to the publisher. According to the guide maintained by the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, D-294 represents the year 1929.
