C. T. Art-Colortone [Curt Teich]
The homes of Hollywood movie stars have traditionally been the subjects of postcards. In this case the stas were George Burns (1896-1996) and his wife Gracie Allen (1895-1964) who started their act in vaudeville and paired as comedians, she as a "ditzy" blonde and he as her "straight man," allowing her to get the laughs. According to the Curt Teich Postcard Archives, the number in the right lower corner of this card, 8A-H2993, places its publication in 1938. The publisher's number, in the top margin, is 855.
