This card was produced two years before the California Pacific International Exposition but mailed during the event. The divided back carries a descriptive paragraph, a legible postmark, a promotional cancellation, an intact postage stamp, and a handwritten message and address in cursive, using black ink, unevenly applied. This is a linen card produced as part of series for the 1935 exposition.

Dear Miss Rominger
I cannot thank you enough for your great kindness -. After
leaving you in San Diego I went sightseeing and then down to
Agua Caliente. Afterards I went back to the Exposition and from
there to the train. I was all over the city of Los Angeles yesterday,
and expect to be "on the go" these two days I have left here in
your beautiful town. This certainly is a wonderful country and I
Just hate to leave it so soon. Hoping that I see you again
sometime, somewhere. The best wishes and thanks.
Sincerely yours [R??ks Sigfusson]

LOOKING WEST ALONG THE AVENUE OF PALACES
Looking west from Park Boulevard, along the Avenue of Palaces, a majestic thoroughfare of Spanish Renaissance structures--the tower of the Palace of Science in the distance. Double rows of acacias present pleasing contrast to the white exhibit palaces.
