Picture postcard of Hotel Keystone, San Diego, California

The San Diego History Center has a photograph of this hotel from around 1900, looking exactly the same (#1536-1), but with a horse and carriage in front instead of an automobile. A page of the San Diego Tourist from July 1912 shows the same hotel at 10th Avenue and Broadway, with an automobile out front, advertising that the produce for the hotel all comes from the Mission View Farm "just five miles from the hotel in Mission Valley." Between this advertisement in the "Tourist" and the manufacture of this postcard, "D Street" had changed names to Broadway, placing this image after 1912.
