The street labeled "Park Drive" in 2013 is in the Kate D. Sessions Memorial Park north of Mission Bay, immediately south of La Jolla, California. The label on this card of "Park Drive" might refer instead to Park Boulevard, which traverses downtown San Diego, through Balboa Park, and ends at Adams Avenue near the Old Trolley Barn Park. In this hand-tinted picture postcard, new plantings of palm trees can be seen along the broad, unpaved street on the right side. This card differs slightly in tinting and clouds from PC-000-737, which has a seal of the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 on the back of the card. The Curt Teich number on the back of the card is A-8198 (1908-1910).
