Union Oil Company began producing postcards to be given away at gasoline stations in the United States as early as 1915, but Union 76 gasoline with the logo on the back of this card was not introduced until 1932. They were an early publisher of Photochrome postcards. This card is neither numbered nor dated, which might indicate that it was published in 1949 or subsequently, since earlier cards were numbered, and later cards were reprints.
