"Natural color" post card of The Midway during the California Pacific Exposition of 1935 held in San Diego's Balboa Park. Also called the Amusement Zone or Fun Zone, this attraction was located in the northern part of the fairgrounds. The "Crime Never Pays" building on the left exhibited John Dillinger's bulletproof limousine with its gun slits, and the "Monsters alive" exhibit on the right featured snakes.
