Hunter, John C.
On a supply run while on occupation duty, Hunter visited Nuremberg and wrote this article for his camp publication, which was rejected but enclosed in a letter to John and Jane Adams (MS -0377-08-05). He provides a detailed description of his trip to the city that used to be a "bastion of the medieval spirit," now "a pile of stones and dust and debris with here and there a statue."
