An unidentified marcher wears a bird costume in purple and pink feathers and paper, in front of the San Diego Chicken Pie Shop Restaurant (1991 or 1992?). The restaurant was at the northeast corner of Robinson and Fifth Avenue. The same "Gay Bird" is seen in the photograph numbered P024.411M in a Lambda Archives's Flickr album, labeled 1990 by them, and in the photograph at identifier P016.090M a person is identified as the Gay Bird, but not named.
