Former San Diego Police Chief Bob Burgreen (1938-2007) takes his hat off to the crowd while sitting riding on the back of a convertible. A sign on the side of the car and partly obstructing Burgreen reads "D.C. in '93" with a pink triangle. Burgreen followed William B. Kolender as interim chief then police chief from 1988 to 1993.
