Many Black Manuscripts have similar cloth covers with detailed fabric art. The front cover of this one has a collage from scraps of cloth, embroidery thread, and bits of shiny paper on the front, with elaborate embroidery on the back as well. The decorated table of contents lists titles, page numbers, and dates of completion of the hand-drawn stories within, including the last date in March of 1982. The date here is from a note on our page 261.
