Top news story of this first issue of 1952 is Bill Miller's election as president of the Alumni Association.An article about Ruth Ellis is also included, who suffered from polio and is now college chairman for a polio drive. Associate Editor Charles T. Byrne closes the issue with a membership report. While the Alumni Association fell short of its "1001 in '51" membership drive, Byrne notes the association is "considerably stronger now than it was in the beginning of 1951," with 506 members in good standing.
