Interviewer: Thomasin, Sandy
This interview was done with the intent of donating it to the Center for Regional History at San Diego State University "because they have the League of Women Voters papers" according to Thomasin. Kantor joined the League of Women Voters in San Diego in 1959, the Clairmont Unit. She wanted to get background on her local government. She stopped being active when she returned to work and had no time for meetings, but she had been part of the League's Speakers Bureau. In this interview the former Chairwoman of League of Women Voters and assistant director of the San Diego Historical Society discusses her time with the League of Women Voters, housing issues in San Diego, voter education, League operations, and her work at the Historical Society. This oral history was digitized by the California Audiovisual Preservation Project (CAVPP).
