This is a sepia-tone card showing an oil derrick on the side of a hill. The Little Sespe Creek flows through a canyon within the Sespe oil field, 3-1/2 miles north of Fillmore. The number S-234 is near the right lower corner. The contributing publishing company, owned by Edward H. Mitchell, was only open from 1907 to 1915.
