On the left two people ride on a camel, accompanied by its wranglers. On the right are amusement-park attractions, including the Temple of Mirth partially out of frame on the far right. The Midway was on the south bank of the Venice Lagoon, seen here on the left. It and the lagoon were built by Abbot Kinney along with the "Venice of America" canals, a pier, and other developments on his piece of what was originally Santa Monica. The Midway was torn down in 1911 and replaced with the roller coaster "The Race thru the Clouds." The back of this card is divided only to allow a return address in the left panel. The publisher's number 3657 and the rubber-stamped "Made in Germany" (in red) are along the dividing line.
