Curt Teich and Company, Incorporated, Chicago, Illinois (as C. T. Photochrom)
A three-story building with an elaborate rounded portal flies United States flags and banners and is draped with bunting. This was part of the new Abbot Kinney Pier built in 1921 after fire destroyed the old pier in 1920. This Venice Dance Hall was designed by Lawrence Furniss to allow for 800 couples. The pier was demolished in 1946, with any structures remaining destroyed by a 1947 fire. The publisher's number V. 29 precedes the title at the top. The Teich number beside the dividing line on the back is A-91664, from which the date was derived.
