A gondola plies the Aldebaran Canal as one looks northeast. Behind the gondola are two rowboats, then in the middle ground and distance, a bridge and another gondola and another bridge. On either side of the canal are residences and flower beds. When most of the canals were filled in, this canal became Market Street. On the divided back of the card is the publisher's number F219 and the railroad-promotion motto "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders."
