Gondolas on the lagoon, Venice, California

The Coral Canal Bridge conveys pedestrians across the Coral Canal from the bathhouse that here spans the card. Several gondolas are pictured, along with people waiting for them. The lagoon and some canals had only been flooded since 1905. Coral Canal later became Main Street, with this intersection at Kinney Plaza, where a gondola was to later sit in a traffic circle. The publisher's number 617 precedes the title at the bottom. As is explained on the divided back, this card was "printed in Germany."
