On the lawn in front of a house with steps up to a porch a large Texas umbrella tree stands alone. The publisher's number 3190 is along the dividing line on the back along with the phrase "Made in Germany." Below these, oriented along the line, is a warning to use the left panel for a return address only, "(no other writing)." This type of postcard back was used in the years bracketing the change in postal regulations that allowed messages on the address side (from undivided to divided backs).
