A white building with three wings and rooms between them, displaying colonnades and porches, faces the viewer. Behind the hotel a landmark like an arrowhead appears to point at the hotel. This landmark is the Arrowhead geological monument in the San Bernardino Mountains. The building shown is one of several built to take advantage of the hot springs at the site. Despite the fact that the publisher is listed as the O. Newman Company, the logo on the divided back is that of the Newman Post Card Company. The publisher's number on the back is partially obscured but looks like L 5. Underneath it is the phrase "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders," a railroad promotion motto.
