Two yucca plants bloom side by side in the foreground, with more such trees and hills in the background. This is a Real Photo Postcard developed on Dops photographic paper. The hand-printed words and numerals "Nielen Cin O 133-31" on this card indicate the creator of this card, Andries Nielen, who worked in Cincinatti, Ohio, numbered his negatives (in this case 133), and placed the last two digits of the year last. Nielen was also known for the quotations he printed on the backs of his cards.
