San Bernardino Mountain from Redlands Prospect Park, California

 

 

 

Looking north toward the foothills, San Bernardino Mountain is on the right with snow on it. In the foreground there are a driftwood bridge over a pond and trees and shrubbery, with buildings in the middle ground. San Bernardino Mountain is east northeast of Prospect Park, which is around 6 miles from the foothills of the San Bernardino Mountain range. This chrome card has the publisher's number 5137 on the divided back along with "Made in Germany." The same image was published, presumably earlier, by Newman with a "return-address-only" style back with a narrowed left panel, then later, postmarked 1911 with a divided back displaying a logo.
