This is a busy downtown street, with automobiles parked at an angle on both sides of the street. In the distance a streetcar is on tracks visible in the foreground. Businesses visible on the right include: Commercial Hotel and Olympic Cafe. On the left are the St. Charles Hotel (The Andreson Building, 1887), F. C. Woolworth's, and the Chocolate Palace Cafe. The date "5/17/23" is handwritten on the back, along with the printed publisher's number S. B. 14 and the creator's and contributor's logos. The Teich number at the top of the dividing line on the back is A-85878, from which the date is derived.
