The Potter Ranch, eight miles from the hotel, near Santa Barbara, Callifornia

 

 

 

 

Dozens of hogs are feeding at three different troughs lined up, with only a couple of hogs facing away from the troughs toward the viewer. Behind a couple of fences in the middle distance is a barn. and on the left are milk cans. The Potter Hotel had its own ranch and farm where it raised vegetables and livestock to feed guests in the hotel dining rooms. The publisher's number 4489 and phrase "Made in Germany" are beside the dividing line on the back, along with another number in the stampbox: 57896. There is something stuck to the card at the lower right corner.
