This is the "Pleasure Pier" that was constructed between Castle Rock and Stearns Wharf. Pipes along it carried seawater to the bathhouse about where the viewer would be. During renovations to the Santa Barbara Harbor, the pier was destroyed. The publisher's number on the divided back is 3262, and the phrase "Made in Germany" also appears
