A two lane highway follows a "hairpin" curve (a U-shaped stretch that doubles back on itself) through mountainous countryside. On the left there is a white railing along the highway. State Highway 154 has a curve of this sort not far north of Santa Barbara in the Santa Ynez Mountains. On the divided back the word "handcolored" is prominently displayed.
