Los Baños del Mar dominates the setting with its large L-shaped swimming pool. Behind the pool is the beach fronting on the Santa Barbara Harbor, with West Cabrillo Boulevard heading northeast toward Stearns Wharf in the distance on the right. A printed sentence on the divided back states that "Santa Barbara, sometimes called the 'American Riviera', has a bathing beach and yacht harbor bordered by a palm lined boulevard." This is one of the series of Union Oil Company's "Natural Color Scenes of the West," dated by the motto, logo and stampbox on the back.
