This color card features a man and woman dancing in the center of a courtyard, surrounded by people who are also in 19th-century Spanish costume. Behind them is an arch and the Spirit of the Ocean Fountain of the Santa Barbara County Courthouse. The description on the divided back states that "In August each year the entire city, joined by thousands from near and far, dresses in gala Spanish costumes and relives in pageant, dance and song its early history. The streets are filled with dashing caballeros and smiling señoritas." This a 76 Union Gasoline card from the Union Oil Company series "Natural Color Scenes of the West."
