The hotel and part of the annex are visible from across the street, with the distinctive tower above a porch rising over the three stories. This is the first Arlington Hotel that was destroyed by fire in 1909. The new hotel built on the site would take up the entire city block. The Arlington Theatre was built on part of the site after the succeeding hotel was demolished. The publisher's number 828 is on the divided back of this card, made in Germany.
