On a street where trees are set out beyond the curb and period automobiles are parked, Mission Revival architecture using white stucco includes the Post Office tower on the left, and the Arcade giving shelter to a man on the right. This was the main street, Ojai Avenue, of the village originally called Nordhoff, redesigned by architect Richard Requa, with new buildings inspired and funded by Edward Libbey and other wealthy Californians. This new look debuted in 1917. The divided back of this card displays the word "hand-colored."
