This shows a main street with a crosswalk on the right, buildings, most half timbered, across the street. The building nearest to the right has a sign: "Restaurant Bit o' Denmark." A short paragraph on the back tells us: "In the early days of this century, a band of resolute Danish-Americans came to California to recreate a typical Danish Village. For its locale, they chose the rolling oak-studded Santa Ynez Valley, they named it 'Solvang,' which in Danish means 'sunny field.'" The publisher's number C16715 is on the divided back.
