According to the printing on the divided back of this card the "angel" is best seen appearing to spread its wings in the early morning. On the left is a Joshua tree, while in the distant mountains is a formation perceived as an angel with wings spread.

The "Angel" is the lighter rock formation visible below and slightly to the right of the main snowcap in the background, between the two central ridges protruding towards the viewer on the lower slopes of the mountain.
