Postcard back of Greetings from Blythe, California
This postcard back has no publisher named but resembles cards with the Tichnor Brothers' logo, especially in the content and style of the dividing line and words "Post Card," and placement of the publisher's number. There is a two-cent stamp, perhaps indicating an origin during those years before 1952 when this was the required postage: 1917-1919, and 1925-1928. The postmark is only partially legible. A message and address are handwritten in cursive using black ink.

Dear Mother, This is certainly worth the trip. Everything O.K. Coming home fast. About three hundred miles to-day. Im[sic] doing plenty of driving. My writing looks like the devil.

[along bottom] We got here too late to look around much to night[sic].

[crammed in beside "Friday" along left margin] We'll start in the morning for El Centro.

With Love Bert
