The Big Cedar of Idyllwild
Gray, E. B.
Photographic paper: Dops
A twisted cedar tree takes up most of the sunlit scene on this Real Photo Post Card. This was an incense cedar in Strawberry Valley preserved in the name of pioneer George Thomas (early 1930s), but high winds blew it over a few decades later. The photographic paper used was made between 1925-1945, indicating that the card was made sometime during this time period.
