A concrete pyramid about two stories tall has two entrances with signs, one saying "dates" and the other giving the store name and "dates & grapefruit." A date palm, laden with fruit, stands on the lawn outside, while a resting dog erects its head to look at the viewer. A one-story space extends out from the pyramid behind a pond, chairs and a table full of grapefruit, away from the road in the foreground. According to the back of the card, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Eudemiller were the "proprietors" of this store, selling "Pyramid Brand Dates, Coachella Valley Grapefruit," and "Delicious Date Malted Milks." The publisher's number 23490N and logo are on the divided back of the card.
