The divided back of this card bears legible postmarks in which the year is separated from the place, time, and day. There is also publishing information and logos. Two lines of advertisement for the Balloon Route Excursion of the Los Angeles-Pacific Railway suggest that the card may have been produced in or before 1911, because the Los Angeles-Pacific Railway merged with Pacific Electric in that year. There are an intact, cancelled postage stamp and a notice that the card has been published "exclusively for" S. B. Clem.
