A temple in Neo-classical architectural style (1909) stands alone, its central dome touching the top of the picture. Construction started in 1907, so the San Francisco earthquake was taken into consideration by architect Franklin P. Burnham in a design utilizing reinforced concrete. The publisher's number on the divided back is 1639. Also on the back is the Teich number R-34991, from which the date is derived.
