A wide street recedes into the distance where a motor car is barely seen. Between the street and sidewalks are pepper trees, with one house visible on the left. Marengo Avenue, north and south, traverses Altadena, Pasadena, and South Pasadena from the San Gabriel Mountains to the city of Alhambra, where it changes name. The publisher's number on the divided back of the card is B 25. Also on the back, the slogan "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders" suggests that the card was part of a promotion of routes of the Southern Pacific Railroad or the Union Pacific and Southern Pacific together. The contributor was only in business from 1908 to 1921.
