This is a photograph of a rock monument and bronze plaque on Santa Rosa Avenue at the entrance to a portion of that avenue planted in deodar trees. This part of the Altadena route of Santa Rosa Avenue is known as "Christmas Tree Lane." The plaque reads: "This park is given to the public by the property owners on Santa Rosa Avenue in grateful appreciation of the planting of these cedrus deodara trees in 1885 by Frederick J. and John P. Woodbury. 1928."
