This view is almost exactly the same as PC-001-957. They both show the street entrance of the the Hotel Maryland with a turret at the back of the wing on the left, a pepper tree overhanging the sidewalk in front, and ivy climbing to the second of three stories on the wing on the right. The entrance is marked by arches. The Maryland's first building was started in 1903; after a fire in 1914 it was reopened the same year; it was razed in 1937 with only part of a wall remaining in the 1990s. The publisher's number in front of the title is 11705.
