Although Cawston's Ostrich Farm raised birds to sell their feathers, they also had a tourist business partially promoted through streetcar lines that ran to the farm. Ostriches pulled carts and carriages, and there were tours, clothing, and souvenirs for sale. In this case, an Elks (B.P.O.E.) service club initiation was held at the farm, and this is a cartoon in red, black, and white, showing elks on two legs and wearing suits and shoes but with elk heads, antlers and hooves, running for and trying to climb a fence with an ostrich running after them. At the top of the postcard is the message: "Write for free catalogue of the famous Cawston ostrich feathers." This unsent card has a divided back.
