Although Cawston's Ostrich Farm raised birds to sell their feathers, they also had a tourist business partially promoted through streetcar lines that ran to the farm. Ostriches pulled carts and carriages, and there were tours, clothing, and souvenirs for sale. Here a lone ostrich stands in its paddock next to the fence. The publisher's number on the divided back of this German-made card is B. 59.
