Although Cawston's Ostrich Farm raised birds to sell their feathers and "leather," they also had a tourist business partially promoted through streetcar lines that ran to the farm. Ostriches pulled carts and carriages, and there were tours, clothing, and souvenirs for sale. At the bottom right is a statement that the farmers are the "producers of the finest leather goods in the world. Send for free catalogue."
