The tracks connected Hill Street and Olive Street, part of that run giving this view of the downtown. The publisher's number on the divided back is A 119. The slogan "On the Road of a Thousand Wonders" on the back may indicate that the card was part of a promotion of The Coast Line-Shasta Route of the Southern Pacific Railroad.
