This object is a postcard that was cut to have a rounded corner and was pasted onto heavy cardboard that has an old book checkout record on it. The scene shows Sugar Loaf Rock with its stairway and observation desk from the Santa Catalina Island mainland. Two pelicans sit on a rock on the lower right, and a yacht has put in between two smaller rocks seaward of Sugarloaf.
